BBW:LA Wrap up 2012: The I LIKE U Gals!!

So I had to add my few cents on the BBW: LA cast. First, Kevin Harts' wife's spoof was hilarious (catch that here...I like you). Now on to the foolery. Malaysia wow, you are trying too hard (coughing). Jackie is and forever will be craze, it takes a village. Draya, almost forgot you are really a wild child. I don't find it cute, do you (both ways)?  Finally Bambi, I have to give the girl credit because during the finale part 1 she actually did mention that Glowria has no right to basically address her and (Bambi) comments are relevant even if she is a "rookie". Shaunie and her associate Evelyn set her straignt..no no no ma'am you are not the reason for the spinoff if so help us all!  Lawra & Glowria were not even married if I remember on season (1) - now so BBW you were not! Lesson for you all never trust a chick with chicken legs (laura, gloria, keyshia cole, la la). LMFAO!!! I don't think it counts if you become a basketball wife during or after your first reality TV season. But whatev we all have to make that paper and yes you all are doing that (in whatever amount).

A warrant was issued for Small's arrested after investigators learned he moved out of his home and did not provide his new address to the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles, as required by law. 

Small is a Registered Sex Offender due to a 2006 conviction for Lewd and Lascivious Acts Upon a Child. He is also currently out on bond from a previous arrest in November 2011 for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Deputies say he has an extensive criminal history, including prior arrests for prostitution, robbery, sale of cocaine, resisting arrest, and theft.

Small changes his appearance regularly and can pass as both a male and female. His aliases include: Bieosha Small, Lashay Small, Bonnie O'Neal, Andrew Washington, and Andrea Washington. He is described as a black male or female, 5'8", 175 lbs.

Lazy Sunday

So I just decided again, that I need to diet, eat right, excercise and/or lose weight. It is about to be the holidays and everyone should look their best. I also decided to focus on better time management. I also just found out today my boss passed away. I have to say he was a really nice man. I will truly miss him!!!

I got a speeding ticket

I got a speeding ticket a few months ago and today was court day. I think it is better to go to court on a ticket instead of simply paying it. When you go to "arraignment" you can plead no contest and the judge in most cases will withhold adjudication on the points, meaning that you won't get any points and he may reduce the fine and allow you to go to traffic school. I thought that you could only go to traffic school a handful of times in your life, but apparently, the judge can let you go whenever. I ended up with no points, driving school and paying the ticket and court costs. That does no sound like that sweet of a deal but if I would have not gotten the points adjudicated, my car insurance would have increased. My driving record has a history of unlawful speeding, so now I will be slowing down!!!

I was watching Toya and I had to stop, That show is so sad and I am sure Anita will be back on the pipe in no time. You can't expect a person that has been on the pipe for 20 years to go to rehab and than co-own their "own" restaurant while you are off fianceing it up in another state? But really what does Memphiz really do for a living? That house is larger than expected! Wow!

So presently I am on a savings plan, I have a passion for shoes and handbags and it has finally gotten to the point that I need to stop, this is not news but just speaking on it is healing.

Ladies before you have a child with your man or husband, just be advised that this is a second job that many are not cut out for, case and point - Casey Anthony - know when and what you doing when you decide to have children. It can not be done alone and you will need at least one other person on your team to be successful, hell, you may need 3 or 4 people and the terrible 2s turn to 3s and 4s and so on.

I thought I would share this with you since you had some issues with the items that you packed for your summer trip to Florida. You are getting older so no more excuses.

Here is a (short list) of the items you should pack when you travel:

toothbrush/toothpaste
hair brush/comb/hair wrap that you use at night - hair ties
lotion
bath wash
shampoo/conditioner/hair oil or creme
face wash
deodorant
light fragrance/perfume
feminine products when you begin to use
towel/wash cloth - if you are going to a hotel or to a place where you don't know the linen situation

you can bring your favorite jewelry but make sure the items are already in your ear, on your finger or on wrist so the items will not be stolen or lost (this means you will be wearing the items with all your outfits).
sleeping clothes - two t-shirts - two shorts/pants - two night gowns (you choose)
undershirt - underwear - bra
light sweater - summer/winter
jacket - winter
belt
bathing suit
jeans - causal (trouser jeans) dressy, etc.
casual pants - not jeans (khaki)
shorts - go to knees or right above the knee (non daisy dukes)
dress to wear as if you were going to church
dress shoes
sneakers/socks

Clothes (tops/bottoms) and shoes appropriate for the weather (these items you will wear when you reach your destination. Try to pick items that are easy to wear and don't need a lot of ironing).

Also I find that if you roll items up instead of folding them you can pack MORE.

You only need about 10 outfits (10 tops and 10 bottoms).

I think this list is pretty complete, if i forgot something you think you need (include it). LOL

Port-au-Prince, Haiti (CNN) -- Haitian authorities have recorded more than 70,000 deaths since last week's magnitude 7 earthquake outside Port-au-Prince, the country's prime minister said Tuesday.

Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive said that at least 72,000 bodies have been recovered since the quake. That figure does not include bodies buried by families or collected by the UN peacekeeping mission in Haiti.

Some death toll estimates for the earthquake, which struck just south of Port-au-Prince, range from 100,000 to 150,000 in Port-au-Prince alone.

At least one person was pulled alive from rubble in Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, seven days after the earthquake. Ena Zizi was rescued from rubble either at or near the national cathedral, CNN's Anderson Cooper reported.

Her son, Maxime Janvier, told CNN that he never gave up hope that she'd be found.
"We were praying a lot for that to happen," he told CNN on Tuesday afternoon, about 15 minutes after he learned she'd been rescued.

A week after the January 12 earthquake, much of of the Haitian capital lay in heaps of rubble. Roads remained damaged and a main port was still closed. Food, water and other aid has arrived, but some say the distribution of supplies is slow.

Despite challenges, the situation is improving, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said. He announced Tuesday that the United Nations Security Council has approved a proposal to send an additional 2,000 soldiers and 1,500 police officers to the small country.

Capacity at Port-au-Prince's airport is improving, and the port is expected to be reopened next week, Ban said. New corridors have been cleared on land, he said.
The United Nations estimates that 3 million people need of food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

About 2,000 US troops are on the ground in Haiti, and more than 5,000 are just off-shore on US ships, said Maj. Gen. Daniel Allyn, the deputy commander of Joint Task Force Unified Response.
He said the US military anticipated eventually having an "aggregate strength" about 10,000 troops.

Scores of US troops were in helicopters that landed Tuesday on the grounds of the ruined presidential palace, drawing dozens of Haitians to the compound's wrought-iron gates.

After arriving on the palace grounds, some of the US 82nd Airborne soldiers who jumped from the helicopters moved to the capital's general hospital, which is without electricity or running water, a CNN crew reported.

"Our primary purpose is in getting to the population, whether it be the distribution of water, food, or, in this case, where they've got medical treatment going on and they're overwhelmed," Lt. Gen. P.K. Keen, head of U.S. Southern Command, told CNN at the hospital. He said the troops were providing some security there.

Shortly after they arrived, several men carried in a stretcher bearing an injured woman -- a reminder that many are still in dire medical need, even a week after the 7.0-magnitude earthquake.

Doctors at the hospital used vodka to sterilize the limited medical instruments because there was no rubbing alcohol. Treated patients lay outside with tents made of tarps and blankets providing some shelter.

Formerly vacant buildings were used for treating patients, as the main hospital building had been deemed unsafe.

"We have run out of IVs and IV needles and IV fluids," said Dr. Mark Hyman of Partners in Health. "We've run out of surgical supplies. We have to wash with vodka and we have to operate with hacksaws because we don't have enough operating tools," he said. Those at the hospital were hopeful electricity and water would be restored later Tuesday.

Partners in Health, among a handful of non-governmental agencies at the hospital, has been working in Haiti for more than 20 years. Before the earthquake, it ran 10 hospitals and has hundreds of doctors and nurses, mostly Haitians, on staff.

The military is going to help with organization and with supplies, he said, emphasizing that he has not experienced any security problems.

"What they want to do is get this hospital operational again," he said. "They want to help us airlift patients out to hospitals where there's plenty of doctors, plenty of supplies, but no patients.

"They're going to help us get electricity, they're going to help us get food. They're going to help us get tents, they're going to help us get all the operating supplies in. ... We don't have the infrastructure to take back this hospital, rebuild it, and that's what they're going to help us do."

Some Haitians welcomed the arrival of US troops. But one man said military force was not needed -- more relief supplies were.

Such frustration appeared to mount Monday, as hundreds of Haitians broke into a damaged store in downtown Port-au-Prince, stripping it clean and then moving on to another store a half-block away.

"Of course on TV we see violent incidents and looting," said Alain Le Roy, the United Nations peacekeeping director.

However, he said, "There is not widespread looting all over the place."
Haitian President René Préval will address the nation Tuesday, according to a spokesman for the prime minister.

The flow of supplies into Haiti has been hampered by congested roads and the crowded airport, and thousands of survivors have been left to scrounge for food and emergency aid.

Although some officials said hope for survivors under the rubble was fading, Ban said Tuesday that there were still lives to be saved. Some 90 victims have been saved by 43 international rescue teams, made up of some 1,700 people, he said.

The US State Department announced Tuesday that 28 Americans have been confirmed dead in Haiti -- including the cultural affairs officer at the US Embassy.

A US Air Force C-17 circumvented airport congestion by dropping 55,000 pounds -- about 40 pallets -- of bottled water and food into Haiti on Monday, the first U.S. airdrop of supplies.

Maj. Gen. Daniel Allyn, the deputy commander of Joint Task Force Unified Response, said Tuesday that US forces intend to carry out more aerial drops, but it was not immediately clear when those would occur.

Allyn also said the US military was assessing other runways to use in order to relieve congestion at the Port-au-Prince airport. Two such runways were going to be used over the next day or so, he said.

The United States was conducting medical operations on board a vessel off the coast, the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. And the USNS Comfort, a hospital ship, is due to arrive off Haiti's coast Wednesday morning, Allyn said.

Outside of Haiti, people have contributed more than $220 million to major US relief groups, according to The Chronicle of Philanthropy, a newspaper covering nonprofit organizations.

Nearly $9 million of that money was raised on CNN's "Larry King Live" on Monday night in a star-studded live fundraising event.

Also, a temporary protected status has been established for Haitian nationals who were in the United States as of the day of the earthquake.

US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano estimated that 100,000 to 200,000 Haitian nationals are in the United States illegally. The temporary status allows them to stay for 18 months, authorizing them to work and send remittances back to Haiti, she said last week.

Dozens of Haitian children rescued from an orphanage arrived Tuesday in Pennsylvania to be placed with foster families until adoptions are finalized. Most of the children's adoption cases were at the end of the bureaucratic process before the earthquake struck (SOURCE).

Time for...I Don't Make This Up!!!

So today I had several errands to run. First I had to go and get my daily cup of coffee and that led me to Dunkin Donuts. I get there and I am behind 4 people. The lady right in front of me, forgot to decide what she wanted (while we were waiting and decided to make up her mind right at the counter) so she is sitting there and she finally orders. She wanted a croissant with something on it and a coffee with creamer and "no sugar" then she gets her coffee and she holds up the line again and asks for a few packets of "sugar", if I could have slapped her I would have, why are people so dumb??? The lady could have put the sugar in for her, trust me she would not have put that much.

Then I had to go to the post office and as usual there is this long line (Does every post office only have one person working the counter?). I made sure that I had packed the items I wanted to send in the priority mail box (you can stuff it as full as you want in the priority boxes and it costs the same no matter what). I get in line and the person at the counter looks like she is trying to send a computer through the mail (in the computer bag, LOL). I said to myself here we go again. I am thinking she tried this before because she told the lady behind the counter that she needed a box. The lady behind the counter did not have a regular box behind the counter, that would fit the computer bag so she had to get this: sign off her terminal and got the back. I was like this is not happening. Then the lady behind the counter came back and told the lady how much it would cost for the box and shipping stuff (tape, etc.) she was like, that is ok I will go to Fed Ex, I started to grab her and say no you will not, after you have been holding up the line for 15 minutes now. So she leaves ( I'm giving her a blank stare, behind my shades) and then the next character approaches the counter. This guy was sending a small bag that looked like he had just went to burger king and he was sending the leftovers in the same bag to somebody. The lady at the counter told him he needed an envelope, somehow he got a priority mail envelope (but he had not filled out the mailing label) she asked him to fill it out to the side and he could come back up when he was done. Fast forward to when he finishes filling out the mailing label and this is when I wanted to pull out the flashlight and point it in is eyes to see if he was on drugs or something. He told the lady that he wanted to use his (pre- moistened stamps - this means that all you have to do is pull and stick) stamps to pay for the postage, so they worked that out and then he asked the lady behind the counter for some water. I was like, OMG, is he thirsty, she was even blowed. He told her he wanted the water so he did not have to lick the stamps that he was going to use to pay for the (flat rate) envelope. She said the stamps have adhesive behind them all you have to do is peel and stick them. I just held my head down in shame and dismay. Mind you we all hear him because we are all waiting so patiently for our turn. I don't even think he got it because he was looking like he had birds flying over his head. LOL!!! I mean sometimes I wonder if you need a high school diploma to go to the post office. How long have they been making postage stamps that don't need water for application???

First Up The Monique Show on BET

O.K., I love Monique but why??? Her show did get me watching/purchasing the entire 4 seasons of Lincoln Heights on Itunes (which I loved) but why is she so "over the top"? I mean first of all, people already think that my people are loud, so why does she come out on the show screaming all that nonsense! Plus the last show I saw with the Queens of Comedy (Laura, Sommore and Adele) made me think that Sommore has beef with Monique, even though they acted like they were all the best of friends. No matter what, when someone is doing better then someone else and you all started at the same place, there has to be a little envy and I think Sommore is that lady. First she brings out this pic of Moniques' current husband, as the only picture she could find that reminded her of the good ole days on the road with the Queens of Comedy. My question is: Why is it important for Sommore to let Monique know that she may or may not have had her man??? (Jealousy is a terrible thing). Then Laura decided to cook some food on top of an iron in some tin foil (aluminum foil, people's) knowing that Monique is on a diet, she can't eat that stuff...LOL!!! I think she may have been implying that Monique is hungry and that she was talking all that mess before about skinny women and she is turning into that girl before our eyes. Good look on the new you Monique by the way. Monique looks great, and I need the number to her stylist, because her hair, shoes and dresses are the business. The show is great, but all the extra stuff just makes you want to fast forward.

Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I meet AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. ( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and dis concern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK's last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.

Already I can hear some of you saying " why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something that's broken". Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, that's false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
I'm not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would've handled things more carefully. I'm not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesn't exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now

This is not a publicity stunt, I don't have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don't have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!

I know many will see my point and many will not be able to look into what's real because they only want to see Alicia Keys the celebrity, not the human. This is not for the "people", this is for you. Like I said I was left no choice but to reach out to you this way. By now, I'm sure you want to find a balance in this as well.

I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don't understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I don't consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong.

If its so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. If you two being together forever is the case, its more of a reason for us to get along, because I'm not going anywhere. Theres a child to be raised.

To answer your tweet, choose smart over spark. Sparks burn everyone, be smart! Its simple actually, just think of the shoe being on the other foot.

I drink a lot of bottled water, I hate to think about what is in the water that comes out of the faucet, but when I read this article I was shocked, but not so much:

I drink a lot of Zephyrhills bottled water, and I have heard that some of this water does not even come from Zephyrhills. Why I continue to drink it, I have no idea.

New Hair Do:Michelle & Ciara

Women, and ecspecially black women, have the option of adding extensions and wearing wigs to protect their hair or to change thier overall look. I have to say that Michelle and Ciara know this all too well. I have been wearing weaves and wigs for a long time and I know from just looking at these pics that Michelle has a weave (sew in) and Ciara has on a wig. If I am wrong, I am wrong, but I am sure that this is nothing new to these ladies. Antything makes the news these days.....

Bald/Shaved Heads: But Why???

Ok, I have short hair (like Rihanna) but why are women everywhere shaving their heads? Is it too hot outside, did they get a bad cut, are they crazy....??? I have to say that Brittany is not the first and definitely not the last to folly this trend, but usually when a woman shaves her head, something is going on in her personal life that has cause her to go temporarily insane.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.A source inside the hospital told us there was "absolute chaos" after Jackson arrrived. People who were with the singer were screaming, "You've got to save him! You've got to save him!"We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

The Real Housewives of ATL starts July 30 on Bravo the show has replaced basketball wifey Deshawn with Kandi Burruss who was one of four members in the female group Xscape. There is not a whole lot of information out there relating to Burruss, however, after her five years with Xscape (1992–1998), Burruss tackled a solo career from 1998-2006. During her solo years, she focused on her song writing. Most notably, Burruss and a former bandmate wrote “No Scrubs” for TLC back in 1999 and the song achieved great success. A year later, Burruss released her debut album Hey Kandi. After lack of album sales, Burruss was dropped by her record label Columbia Records. Over the course of her career, Burruss has written numerous songs and most recently formed the group Peach Candy with an Atlanta, Georgia partner named Rasheeda (Source).
