Jill Marie Jones

So what do we really know about the castaway from the UPN now CW Network, TV show Girlfriends. "Toni Childs" was a Dallas Mavericks dancer for one year and a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader for two years.
Did she gradaute from college? That is pretty vague but check out this answer from an interview:

When did you go out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders?
Well, I graduated from high school when I was 17, but you couldn't try out for the cheerleaders until you were 18. I got a little worried because that year the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in Pasadena and I knew that everyone and their momma was going to want to be a cheerleader! from the Texas Women's University
.

Also in those days Jill was scrapping for the dollars on her salary as a cheerleader!!!

What was the pay back then for the cheerleaders?
We were paid like $50 a game. Five-oh! They get more now. I made most of my money with the Cowboys through personal appearances and I was also in show group. We'd perform at conventions and stuff. You definitely had to have a full-time job, be a full-time student or mother. The great thing about the Mavericks was that I was doing other things. I was busy modeling, too. The Cowboys practiced every day, the Mavericks did not, so I had much more flexibility (click on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for the entire interview).

Her latest work are the (2006) Bailey's Irish Cream commercials. She also has some upcoming works in production: Perfect Christmas (2007)...Robin; Redrum (2007).... Tonya and Universal Remote (2007)...Reporter. Her earlier works include City Guys-Shock Treatment (2000) TV Episode....Cheerleader Captain (how ironic). Overall I do believe that she made the show with her style and attitude. Some of the things she would say on the show really made me think that she was in my head sometimes, and you thought that make-up and hair extensions don't make a woman.
