“Everywhere I went, people were asking, ‘Are you okay?’ I just hated that,” Porter says, over a bowl of squash soup during a three-hour lunch at a French bistro in Manhattan. Dressed in black leggings and a striped sweater, and wearing very little makeup, Porter is more stunning in person than in any red-carpet shot.“People just believed everything they saw in print, and they were talking to me like I was really crushed,” she continues, “But I had just had a baby. I couldn’t be somewhere in a corner heartbroken. I have kids. I’m a grown woman.”

“I told him someone’s got to go, and it isn’t going to be me and these kids,” she remembers

“It was like my life was not my own,” says Porter. “He was very, very intrusive.”

About Diddy taking their son Christian, around Lopez....

“No,” she bristles. “Hell no! No. No. No. Do you see me? I’m a full black woman. We don’t mix and mingle like that. I’d kill him dead. So he knew better. And besides, does she look like the type that would want to play house and family with two little black kids? No. I don’t think it was that type of situation.”

"Look, she knows what went on, I know what went on. And that is where we have to leave it. I am not going to discuss any of the details of that intimate relationship that I had with the public. It's just not that necessary."

J.Lo comes clean about her affair with P. Diddy.

So what's the hottest buzz circulating in Hollyweird? We all know that Jennifer Lopez goes through relationships like prunes through an old man. But recently she decided to have a little dish session with Vibe magazine to talk about some of her past loves -- and Puff the Magic Daddy ended up getting the worst grades.

It's only been two years since their break-up, but to hear J.Lo talk about her rocky affair with Sean ''P. Diddy'' Combs, you'd think she was 10 when it happened. In addition to claiming she was a vulnerable mess when she hooked up with the P. man, she also admits she went a bit off the charts mentally to boot. ''It was the first time I was with someone who wasn't faithful," she told the 'zine. "I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin.''

But when asked about the rumored reports that she would hunt him down like a special ops soldier and pound on hotel doors looking for him, J.Lo had a bit of selective memory. ''I can't remember right now, but I won't say it didn't happen. I never caught him but I just knew. He'd say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night ... I had to think, do I want to be home with kids in 10 years wondering where somebody is at three in the morning?'' Can't you just see her wearing a jelly-stained bathrobe with a head full of curlers under a shower cap? The poor dear.

The final act on their oh-so-public relationship ended shortly after P. Diddy proposed to the singer. Most fans believe she turned him down and the couple split in 2000 due to this crazed-up serial infidelity. But there are those (and you know who you are) who claim that their sudden split had little to do with true love and more to do with that nasty shooting business at a nightclub that not only made major headlines, but made J.Lo look bad.
