VOTE FOR NACHERA

"I’m a 24 year old single mother, working 2 jobs and a
senior full time at Florida Southern College , majoring
in Business Finance. I have a passion for helping
young girls achieve their dreams and am currently
wanting to start a program for young black girls
age 10-17 to better themselves in every
aspect (for ex. speech, appearance and confidence).

As for my town, we have come a long way. For me to
even be picked out of hundreds of contestants is a
huge improvement. Having said that, negative
exposure continues to plague our community.
Blacks do not get the positive exposure that
they deserve. A lot of the times only when someone
gets killed, robbed etc. do we ever get any light
shined on us or put on the front page of something.
So this contest will be helpful. It will hopefully
encourage other magazines and newspapers in
the community to shine a positive light on the
minorities in the area, because we are not
all killers, thugs and prostitutes.
We do have God in us and are
doing positive things".

It is a shame that I have waited this long to post
this young lady who actually lives in my home town and
she is about to make history as the first Black
Woman to appear on the cover of
OCALA MAGAZINE
...some of my
relatives have gotten pics inside, but the cover in no
way (WTF), so this has got to be done. It will help to erase
all the stereotypes that are brought upon black women, etc, etc.

GO HERE TO VOTE FOR NACHERA...BEFORE MAY 15th
