But those who failed to abide by the dress code found themselves told to change, including the wife of Billy Joel, Katie Lee. She had gone to the party dressed in a shade of cream, but that did not win over Combs' fashion police. Turned away, she opted to go home.

USHER AND TAMEKA WED IN ATL THIS PAST WEEKEND

The guest was expected to include Diddy, Beyonce Knowles and her boyfriend Jay-Z,Ashanti, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri. "I'm thrilled that this is finally happening," said one guest, who watched the couple exchange vows in front of about 200 people at the luxurious Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, a 16th-century-style French chateau set on 3,500 acres of rolling hills outside Atlanta. "It was a long time coming, and I can't think of any two people who deserve happiness more than they do." Among the guests were Oprah Winfrey's pal Gayle King and music manager Benny Medina. Usher's mother,Jonetta Patton, who has reportedly clashed with Foster, did not attend(PEOPLE MAG).

The singer told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that he hopes that his baby will be a boy.

In the season premiere episode set to air on September 4, Usher, 28, talked fatherhood and also joked about his recent on-off nuptials with his stylist Tameka Foster, 37. Interview excerpts below:

Ellen: "Last time you were here, you were single. You said you wanted a lady that you could take from the Waffle House to the White House. You found her."

Usher: "I did. I found someone that I’m very, very happy to call my wife."

Ellen: "Is it a boy or a girl?"

Usher: "I don’t know. I want it to be a boy."

Ellen: "Now, you’re going to have a girl and she’s going to see this tape and say, “Daddy, why don’t you love me?” You better save some for some therapy. But you’re going to love her if it’s a little girl."

Usher: "Yeah."

Ellen: "You want a boy, why? So you can play sports with him?"

Usher: "I think every man wants a son. He’s own little own doll. If it’s a boy, I’m going to name him Usher. I’m hoping to name him that. I’ve been playing with a few names. I’m the fourth. Usher Raymond the fourth. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I’ll change the middle name."

Ellen: "What about if it’s a girl? Have any names? What about Usherette?"

Usher: "I thought you would’ve suggested Ellen first."

Ellen: "Well, that’s the obvious. I’m just saying as second choice. Usherette? Or what about 'Boo'?"

DeGeneres also teased the singer for not inviting her to his August 3 wedding, in which he and Tameka exchanged vows in a private ceremony at his lawyer’s office in Atlanta. (The couple had originally planned to wed in a more lavish bash on July 28 at music exec L.A. Reid’s house in the Hamptons, but cancelled the event at the last minute due to a pregnancy scare.)

Ellen: "What happened with the wedding? People were waiting. I was sitting all dressed up -- waiting at home. I wasn’t invited."

Usher: "I actually sent you an invite. You didn’t get it? You never called me that you changed your address. I sent to 3941 Lover’s Lane."

Ellen: "3941 Lover’s Lane. That’s where I live. That’s so odd I didn’t get it. Now, seriously, you did get married this past weekend. You are now married. How come I wasn’t invited to that one?"

Usher: "I sent the invite. You didn’t tell me you changed your address."

Ellen: "Not a good way to start being a daddy as a liar!" [Laughs]
